If there is one show I can watch over and over again it would have to the US version of The Office. Unlike other series I mention on this list I started watching The Office when it first aired on NBC way back in 2005. As each of my siblings became old enough to get the humor they would solidify their spot on the couch every Thursday night to watch the new episode. Though the characters change over the year you learn to love the series regulars like extended family. D and I watch 1-2 episodes per while we get ready for bed each night.

In all honesty I am not a summer person. I would much rather be bundled up braving the cold than trudging through 90 degree plus thick nyc heat/humidity. Even though I may not be the biggest summer fan there are a few things the season brings that I do enjoy. One of which, Frosé! At the first sight of above 80 degree weather this summer drink starts popping up in every restaurant, rooftop, and front stoop in the city. Turns out Frosé is super easy to make and have on hand for the spontaneous get together or more likely, heatwave.
Champagne is like a good white t-shirt. It can be dressed up or down and should be a staple in everyone’s life. When I started my first blog I did a series called Champagne Tuesday. I figured if Tuesday was going to be my least favorite day of the week, why not add a little fun! Not only did I start looking forward to Tuesday, but I also learned the different types of champagnes and which ones I preferred.
Since it took me a good amount of trial and error to figure champagne, I thought I would distill that information to help decode the varieties out there.
With the weather being so cold D and I spend more time indoors. We end up using this extra time in the apartment to catch up on tv shows we might have missed during the summer or revisiting series we just love to watch. Recently, I decided to step up our food game during these streaming marathons and ditch the seamless app. One meal D and I love to make is pita pizzas. You can pretty much create whatever pizza you’re in the mood for but this recipe is one of our usuals I wanted to share for the second Recipes for 2.
The holidays may be over but we still have award season to keep our spirits high during the cold dark days of winter. This year I am a bit behind on watching the Best Picture Oscar Nominees, but after reading some interesting facts about the set design of each I am even more pumped to get caught up.
Architecture Digest pulled together a fantastic list of facts about each of the 2018 Best Picture Oscar Nominees.
Can we get a warm welcome for 2018? I mean come on, I think everyone is happy to turn over the proverbial leaf and start a new year, myself included. This year I hope to be a little more consistent in many aspects of my life. Whether it be flossing, cooking dinner instead of ordering in, dedicating time to my fitness, exfoliating more than once a week, keeping in better touch with friends, and many more instances I could stand to take a little more time to do more than I currently am doing.
